David Lewis Taylor — Portfolio Website

After producing his previous website, David asked me for a redesign in 2009. Even though his old site had been very successful in showcasing his work, David wanted to keep the momentum and take it to a whole new level.

Telling me his new site should be simple and elegant, David gave me free reign in the design and development in his site. While continuing his overall identity and design aesthetics, I revised the site’s structure to improve usability. Despite showing even more of his portfolio work, loading times where significantly lowered. I also implemented a basic content management system which enabled David to switch out sections of his site, keeping his portfolio current.

Advanced analytics enable David to see which body of his work is viewed the most so he can utilize this information for marketing purposes. Working with David has been – once again – a really great experience and proved that the most successful projects are always the result of a great team effort.

David’s portfolio site has been featured on FAIRspot.com and won the British DOPE Recognition Award for photography websites.
